Swedish House Mafia

A unique film charting the extremes, excesses, highs and lows of
international DJ trio Swedish House Mafia 2 years, 15 countries, 285 gigs… one unique film.
TAKE ONE is a hedonistic rollercoaster that offers a glimpse into the work,
play and lifestyle of Swedish House Mafia, the electronic group that have fast become
one of the hottest names on the dance music scene.
This intimate warts-and-all account charts the whirlwind journey of three DJs – Axwell,
Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso – as they tour the world, play to crowds of thousands,
and create the tracks that have brought them international fame and mainstream chart success.
From the on-stage euphoria of playing to entranced clubbers, to the buzz of realising a track in
intimate creative sessions, to the inevitable bickering between the guys, TAKE ONE goes beyond
the music to show what binds together three friends, three artists, three pioneers,
and three total individuals in an emotional ride to success as a group.
Director Christian Larson, whose work with Jonas Åkerlund includes videos for Lady Gaga,
Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez and Rammstein, has captured the extremes, the excess,
the highs and the lows in one emotional hurricane, that will make you want to
simultaneously dance, cry, laugh, rave and work harder for your own goals.
Director: Christian Larsson, Sweden 2010
